National Civil Honours and Awards Nomination Form & Guidelines (2021)
Date: Tuesday, January 12, 2021Nominations are now open for the National Civil Honours and Awards (2021).
Each year, the public is invited to nominate persons to be considered for the eight (8) National Honours and Awards. Nominations open in January of each year and close at the end of March.
Nomination Forms are available as of January each year from the Chancery, Jamaica House, and also from Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
Governor-General’s Achievement Awards (GGAA) Programme (2020)
Date: Friday, February 21, 2020Nominations for the esteemed Governor-General’s Achievement Awards (GGAA), part of the Governor-General’s Programme for Excellence (GGPE), is now open to the public. This year's Awards are being presented, once again, under the Theme: "Engaging, Empowering, and Inspiring Jamaicans".
Nominees must be Jamaican citizens.

Date: Thursday, October 10, 2019Custos of Kingston Steadman Fuller says, in their bid to increase the numbers of Justices of the Peace across the country, the authorities must make every effort to ensure that those recruited are persons of the highest integrity. He made the comment while addressing the Lay Magistrates’ Association of Jamaica (LMAJ) Annual Awards Banquet where several Justices of the Peace and corporate companies were awarded for outstanding services as Justices of the Peace/Lay Magistrates and contribution to the LMAJ.
